Big party! Opening of 2nd Patty’s Child Clinics

February 1st, 2020: Patricia Poetis, founder of PCCP, and Honorary Consul Dr. Poetis, together with Pakistani health officials and local representatives, officially opened the second Patty’s Child Clinic in Mianwal Ranjha on February 1, 2020.

A large number of residents from the Mianwal Ranjha area and surrounding villages, especially women, witnessed the ceremony.

Muhammad Ali Mufti, Chief Officer Health District Mandi Bahauddin thanked the Poetis family for their commitment to improving mother and child health care in Pakistan, especially in Punjab. He also pledged the support of the Ministry of Health in Punjab to extend the projects to other areas of the country.

Patricia Poetis thanked everyone who had contributed to the completion of this further step of the project. She thanked the Lions organization that has helped PCCP collect and manage funds from around the world.

She went on to say, “I would like to thank the Lions President from Chillianwalla and the project leader, Ashan Baba, who tirelessly and voluntarily organized and directed everything here on site.

She also explained her plan to expand further clinics to other  areas of the country.
